The hardest question for me to answer in this world is always the "Tell us all about you" question. The best way for me to answer is that "I am composed of contradictions and subject to change without notice."

Link Collection 1

I collect links. I collect a lot of links. The links end up on scraps of paper, post it notes, legal pads, and various other surfaces around the house and office. These are links that I either intend to blog about or just want to research a little further. Some of the links are just collected as cool looking websites, without any regard to content. Some of the sites have a wonderful business model. Regardless of the reason for the collecting of the link by the time I get back to the links, I have forgotten the reason I collected it in the first place. Since I don't generally do much more with them than collect, I thought it would be best to just start posting them as a list of links that I can find later or someone else can blog about. More than likely, there won't be any more information about them than the link.

There is no particular order to these links. There is no rhyme or reason to them. And there definitely is no real reason for listing them here other than those stated above.

Wendy the Violent Femme

Recently while I was driving home from work - I thought I had lost my mind. I was just driving along, minding my own business, when a commercial came on the radio. At first, I was not sure that it was a commercial. It sounded like a Violent Femmes (one of my all time favorite groups) song, but it didn't sound quite right and it was on KYIS FM (and they would never play The Femmes). Come to find out it was a Wendy's commercial.

I wondering if anyone in the Wendy's marketing department knew exactly what song was put behind their ad (Blister in the Sun)? And I for one won't be the one to tell them.

By the way, I loved the post from historymike on this same topic.

Happy Mousing

Mousepad skirt This was found at Feministing. The Feminists over there didn't think it was very funny - I was rolling on the floor laughing at this. I am all for equal rights, so I would love to see someone come up with a male version of these - not that I would buy it.

Happy Valentine's Day Gifts

Since I have been absolutely too darn busy to get any kind of shopping done for my significant other this fine commercialized holiday - I went shopping online and I found a nice list of naughty items to give for Valentine's Day. I think the rubber ducky is definitely my favorite.
